What’s a typical day as a Document Scanning Technician? You’ll be:

Receiving, evaluating, and determining the prep-level of documents to be scanned.

Evaluating and making suggestions regarding file naming and folder structure.

Removing staples, post-it notes, flags, and binding materials to prepare documents.

Creating an index of documents and organizing them in a custom digital folder structure.

Scanning both small and large format documents using production scanning equipment.

Processing scanned documents to meet client requirements.

Quality checking scanned documents for legibility and completeness.

Transmitting finished products to clients.

Organizing and decorating your work area for enhanced productivity.

Assisting in other departments and customer service as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have effective communication skills.

Have working knowledge of Acrobat, Bluebeam, or other PDF software.

Have working knowledge of MS software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Are tech savvy and can navigate new software with limited training.

Can lift up to 40lbs unassisted and stand for up to an hour at a time.

Have attention to detail and the ability to multitask while maintaining quality.

Have a can-do attitude and a desire to continuously improve.

Required Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

1-2 years of scanning, document handling, reprographics, or printing experience.

1-2 years of data entry, file handling, or document management experience.
