Come soar with us!Collins Aerospace Vision and Sensor Systems Electrical Engineering is responsible for all electrical engineering tasks related to the design, analysis, test and certification of aerospace Head-Up Displays, Helmet Mounted Displays, and Avionics Vision Systems in both commercial and military fields. This position is for a engineering co-op that will have direct oversight from an senior electrical engineer and engineering manager.This is based out of our Wilsonville, OR site location; may be eligible for relocation.Primary Responsibilities:

Design digital and analog electronic circuits

Define requirements for a new design and develop a requirements specification document

Perform preliminary design including block diagrams, trade off studies, and design reviews

Perform detailed design including schematics, design analysis, breadboard tests, and design reviews

Provide engineering guidance during Printed Circuit Board layout

Perform functional tests and design verification tests

Support electrical qualification tests

Develop support test equipment

Provide troubleshooting support to production

Define production test requirements

Basic Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
