Our studio focuses on strength, but also caters to injuries/pathologies.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a certified, experienced Pilates Instructor who is passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, approachable demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and a flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays). Reliable transportation is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead private and group Pilates sessions tailored to various skill levels and goals (Providing an exceptional experience)
Create a positive, supportive environment for all clients
Educate clients on proper technique and form to prevent injuries and maximize effectiveness (offer a personalized experience)
Build relationships and encourage long-term client engagement
Vary routines to keep clients engaged and challenged.
Maintain/hold a strong knowledge of anatomy and injury prevention to help clients safely progress.
Greet every client by name and make them feel welcome.
Remember clients' goals and progress to build trust and loyalty.
Support Studio Growth, Encourage clients to book recurring sessions or packages.
Help promote intro offers, referral programs, and special events.
Be a Brand Ambassador
Represent your studio's values inside and outside class.
Stay active on social media (if comfortable)—share studio posts, client shout-outs, and class updates.
Provide testimonials or content that can be used in marketing.
Be approachable for feedback and genuinely care about client satisfaction.
Maintain Professionalism and Dependability
Be punctual and prepared for every class.
Help with light admin tasks like client intake or follow-ups
Contribute to or lead specialty workshops (e.g., Pilates for Back Pain, Pre/Postnatal Pilates)
Maintain a clean and professional studio environment
Qualifications:
Pilates certification from a recognized organization (e.g., BASI, STOTT, Balanced Body, etc.)
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (Reformer experience preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented
Flexible availability (including some evenings or weekends)
Reliable transportation to and from the studio
