Facility Maintenance Technician

Located in Portland’s Pearl District

Hourly Rate $24.00-$27.00

Full Time, 40 hours per week

o 10AM – 6PM Tuesdays through Saturdays

Job Description:

Works in cooperation with the District Manager, Facility Managers at two locations, and Administrative Staff, and assists with interdepartmental reporting. This person will be responsible for performing interior carpentry, low voltage electrical repairs, technical painting, documentation of pending and completed tasks, vendor verification, vendor communication, and basic facility and light grounds maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

Comply with safety requirements

Routinely inspect, identify, and correct deficiencies

Replace interior light ballasts and modify fixtures for LED tube lighting

Perform technical painting of doors, trim, walls, and flooring

Perform moderate construction, and/or modification of existing interior structures

Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance equipment

Assist with vendor bid requests and scheduling

Summarize and document current, completed, and future maintenance needs

Maintain a positive and cohesive relationship with all coworkers and administrative staff

Possess integrity and an excellent work ethic

Adopt and incorporate policy or procedural changes

Qualifications:

Two + years of low-voltage

Two + years of carpentry

Two + years of painting

Ability to frequently walk and stoop

Effectively communicate with co-workers and administrative staff

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Must have good employment references and pass a criminal background check.
