We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager/ Sommelier who is eager to grow their talents and join our ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, hand-selling wine, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests.

The ideal candidate has a commitment to hospitality and excellence, superb wine knowledge, and progressive hospitality experience. Preferred availability SATURDAY-TUESDAY.

DUTIES

-Manage and supervise the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders

-Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standard

-Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

-Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages

-Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders

-Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

-Assist with menu planning, specials, and promotions

-Oversee cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and reconciliation

-Implement strategies to maximize sales and upselling opportunities

-Collaborate and assist on all thing related to the wine and cocktail program

-Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, changes, and improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

-Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry

-Advanced wine knowledge. Court of Master Sommelier, Level II+ preferred

-Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

-Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

-Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

-Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management

-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
