Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Grant Accountant in Woodburn, OR. As a Grant Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing grants, preparing and submitting quarterly reports, and maintaining accurate records on Tyler software. You will also be tasked with analyzing and reconciling ledgers and ensuring compliance with grant agreements.Responsibilities: Oversee the management and handling of grants Prepare and submit quarterly reports for grant activities Use Tyler software for maintaining and monitoring grant-related financial records Analyze and reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger Understand and ensure compliance with the grant agreement, identifying allowable and non-allowable expenses Utilize analytical skills to identify and rectify discrepancies Manage and understand capital costs related to grants Maintain a good sense of analysis for auditing and grant administration Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and grant management tasks.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing Proven experience in Grant Accounting Familiarity with Government Grants Experience in Grant Administration Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills for financial AnalysisRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
