Position: Host/Hostess

About Us: At Banning’s Restaurant and Pie House, we pride ourselves on delivering delicious cuisine and unparalleled service in a welcoming atmosphere. Located in Tigard Oregon for 45 years, we are a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a memorable first impression

Manage the waitlist with accuracy and efficiency

Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.

Coordinate with servers and other team members to maintain smooth operations and timely seating

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special accommodations with professionalism and attentiveness

Helping with all aspects of to-go and online orders

Taking bakery orders

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host area and lobby

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for hospitality

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
