A FOH Manager is responsible for ensuring that customers have a great experience by creating a workflow that ensures consistent product and presentation. They must ensure all staff provides a high level of customer service. They work closely with owners to implement customer service policies and hire employees who reflect company values. Their job is to oversee smooth operations during service by scheduling all positions needed to achieve a good work flow. Managers are responsible for adhering to labor budgets, placing orders for products and supplies or helping staff complete their job duties during understaffed shifts. The ideal candidate for a FOH Manager position would be someone who is committed to the mission of the establishment, who has a clear vision of how to foster growth within the company, has a dynamic, hands-on personality to work with, hire, train, and supervise staff.

Position available: Springfield - FOH Manager-Our ideal candidate has experience in front of house/bar and food service positions. 21+ with the ability to obtain a permit to mix and sell liquor. This position requires a self motivated individual who can problem solve and lead a team in a positive manner.

Position Type: Hourly/Part Time/Full Time

Responsibilities-

FOH Manager Responsibilities:

Managing crew performance and productivity (30 day, 60 day, quarterly reviews & FOH meetings or trainings)

Ordering business supplies for location consistently

Ensuring that industry-specific quality and safety guidelines are followed by all staff.

Must work a minimum of 35 hours a week. TOR must be coordinated and approved.

Communicate calmly and effectively to diffuse tense interactions that might occur to maintain a safe and fun atmosphere for both guests and staff

Monitoring inventory levels, understanding product use (weekly/monthly/seasonally)

Identifying, planning, and executing promotional events.

Making sure all products are stored correctly and in compliance within regulations

Managing all money drops (making sure all drops are correct and documenting issues)

Making sure the change bag has an appropriate amount of change for daily operation - Weekly

Hiring and Terminations of all FOH staff

Communicating with the General Manager when new staff is needed or when staff puts in notice or resigns.

Scheduling employees, posting schedule within appropriate time frame for employees

Ensuring enough coverage while staying within an appropriate cost-effective labor range.

Reviewing and adjusting employee time sheets, PTO.

Finding crew members' individual strengths and weaknesses.

Work with staff or General Manager to assist with training to improve areas for improvement.

Have systems in place to keep the bar, lobby and restrooms clean and operational at all times.

Troubleshooting any POS/ register issues, phones with customer service to resolve in a timely manner.

Maintain all standards of quality and safety.

Assisting with ensuring dishes are completed each shift.

Making sure all employee paperwork is up to date and on location (food handler cards/OLCC)

Developing effective training methods to increase productivity

Maintaining lists and having proper paperwork on location. (Temp logs, waste logs, etc)

Communicates with the General Manager about any repairs needed

Ensuring the issues are reported to the GM/owner can be assessed.

Ensure staff are pouring and portions are correct and the quality is up to standard. Audit.

Scheduling routine maintenance cleaning

Reporting all workers comp claims to GM immediately after the incident.

Complying and making any necessary changes per health inspector's request.

Making sure the LMG brand is being upheld by all staff.

Ensure staff are following recipes and fulfilling expectations in customer service.

Following all restaurant protocol as instructed by Owners and General Manager

Scheduling and conducting monthly, quarterly team meetings

Work to make production and use of space as efficient as possible

Responsible for execution of event specials a week in advance. Ensure staff are trained properly on Special.

Have a full understanding of each bar menu item from prep to presentation

Making sure the correct prep of any/all menu items are being completed

Complete and conduct reviews with staff. (30 day, 60 day, quarterly) Starts over once an employee is promoted.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Hawaiian and tropical ingredients is a plus.
