Job Title: Line CookJob Description
Serve customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.
Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation.
Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations.
Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards.
Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
Taste all prepared food items.
Use established ticket-collection procedures during service.
Be responsible for records from the area worked during service periods. Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards.
Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to the supervisor.
Attend in-service and safety meetings.
Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and administrators.
