Adecco is urgently seeking candidates to fulfill the Machine/Production Operator role with a Client in Beaverton, OR!About the Role:The Machine Operator/Production Operator will serve as a vital member of the production team, responsible for the manipulation, categorization, and replenishment of raw materials.This role entails the execution of daily inventory management protocols and the systematic maintenance of the Kanban inventory replenishment system within the designated production cell. The operator's primary focus will be on the mechanical assembly of optical scopes, spectrum analyzers, and measurement probes, in addition to the procurement and preparation of assembly kits necessary for operational deployment on the production floor.Further responsibilities include proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, participation in systematic cycle counting procedures, and the organization and replenishment of material storage bins to ensure operational efficiency.

Note to Candidates: The job is for someone who operates machines, organizes materials, checks inventory daily, and uses computer programs to help track everything

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 2 years prior experience in Basic PC skills including using web-based tools, MRP, and Microsoft Office.

Must have 2 years prior experience in the ability to read, understand work instructions, blueprint, schematics.

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. ( occasionally without assistance ).

Must be able to lift 1.0–15.0 lbs. several times per shift without assistance.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well with others.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have:

Experience as a stock handler or similar role.

Ability to conduct cycle counts and resolve related issues.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office .

Familiarity with MRP systems .

Preferred:

Knowledge of the Kanban process.

Experience in maintaining detailed inventory documentation

POSITION PARAMETERS:

Position : Machine/Production Operator

Location : Beaverton, OR 97077

Hours : 10:30PM to 7:00AM

Schedule : Sunday - Thursday

Starting Pay : 21.85/HR

Bonus Points :

A plus if you have 2 years prior experience in Electro-mechanical assembly or similar mechanical assembly.

Position does require passing a drug test and background check.
