Maintenance person part-time

Active 55 and older community looking for a part time maintenance technician for the community clubhouse. This position is part time at 5hrs per day Tuesday thru Saturday – hours and days are negotiable. This person is responsible for supporting the safe, clean, and orderly operation of the clubhouse and associated amenities, including the swimming pool, tennis courts, and surrounding areas. This position performs routine cleaning, minor repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and assists with event setup to ensure a well-maintained and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Applicant must have good communication skills and be courteous and professional while interacting with residents, staff and vendors. Basic knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repair is required. Able to maintain building infrastructure, including replacing furnace filters, changing light bulbs and dimmers, and performing light painting.

Must be able to work independently on tasks assigned as well as observe things that need attention and address them. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Should be able to assess maintenance needs and notify the Administrator when professional services are required.
