Marketing Associate | Content Specialist
The Owen Family of Companies is looking to hire an experienced Marketing and Content Specialist to join our growing team. We are one of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States, we’re the number One Bandit Chipper dealer in the world and we are a major supplier of Foundation Drilling Equipment throughout the United States. We maintain 14 full-service locations throughout the west coast and Texas and our customer base consists of the largest municipalities and contractors in the county. Our equipment is considered crucial to maintaining essential infrastructure systems and we take pride in carrying only the best equipment from the best manufacturing partners.
We have an immediate opening for a Creative Marketing Professional to join our team, working out of our Corporate Headquarters located in Vancouver, WA. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial company with many opportunities for advancement and professional development.
Salary: $20 - $25 Hourly/DOE
Schedule: Full-time. Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Benefits: Full Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, and 100% company paid Life and LTD. We have PTO that accrues weekly, seven paid holidays (eligible after 30 days from start), and 401(k) with company match.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and managing campaign schedules.
Create content to post on social media sites
Track, social media and engage with customers
Develop copy for upcoming campaigns
Plan and write blogs
Create and design email marketing campaigns
Create videos & reels for social media
Goes into the field to capture video and photos for content.
Assisting the Marketing Manager with the organization of the marketing asset library
Assist graphic designer in creating marketing materials from initial design concept to finalized pieces
Copy writer for blogs, emails, newsletter and campaigns
Assist in developing and manage campaign schedules
Other duties as assigned or required.
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Applicant skills, qualifications, and abilities:
Copywriting experience.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to work within branding guidelines and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail.
Minimum two years of related experience (equipment Industry experience highly preferred).
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Photography and video experience (preferred).
Video editing experience (preferred).
Experience with digital marketing platforms (preferred).
Degree (or equivalent experience) in: Marketing, Advertising, Business, Graphic Design or Communications preferred.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
Minimum Qualifications:
Highschool diploma
A valid driver's license.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
