Our client, a leader in custom steel fabrication, design and installation services for material handling and processing systems has immediate openings for an experiencedCAD Drafter / Detailerto join their team! This position is based in Sandy, Oregon and we are looking for individuals who want to learn and grow within this team!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to generate and modify mechanical drawings and detailingfabricated steel products that range from conveyor systems to staircases

Consult with engineering and department personnel as needed to resolve problems

Office admin duties as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

A minimum of 2 - 5years of AutoCAD LT,3D CAD, or SOLIDWORKS experience

Experience and knowledge with MS Office suite

A positive attitude

A strong work ethic

Familiarity or experience drafting and detailingwith materials such as stainless steel and various types of metals

Strong attention to detail

Strong communication & team skills

The ability to learn and willingness to see things through from start to finish

Nice To Have:

Experience in a custom fabrication shop

More than 5 years of experience detailing and drafting

Expereince with creating and modifying mechanical systems
