Title: Network Analyzer Software Engineer Location: Hillsboro, OR (hybrid 40%) Duration: Full-time / Direct Hire Pay Range: Between $160,000 to $180,000 per year - may vary based on experience Visa support available via visa transfer Our client, a leader in RF component design and test, has an immediate need for a highly motivated Network Analyzer Software Engineer to join their team in the development of high-end and mid-range Vector Network Analyzers. This is a small, cross-functional team in a great location that is very collaborative with close personal interactions. The selected individual will work with a highly qualified team of engineers, located both locally and abroad to develop novel applications for the RF and Signal Integrity world. Your Role
- Working with the team to build performant modern C applications for integration with the client's VNA firmware.
- Modeling and understanding potential solutions in MATLAB.
- Working with all aspects of Digital Baseband transmission.
- Shepherding code through a complete development process, including requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, and integration.
- Interface daily with engineering teams in the US and to a lesser degree Europe.
- The ideal candidate will have a mix of hardware and software backgrounds that provide a technological basis for success in developing for a sophisticated RF instrument.
- BS in Electrical Engineering (highly desirable) or Computer Science or equivalent educational certificate.
- 5 or more years of related work experience.
- Coding experience in C or other similar object-oriented language with ability to demonstrate OO design best practices.
- Enthusiasm to work on technically challenging projects and to quickly learn/grow in the process.
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers and colleagues.
- Occasional travel to European and U.S. locations.
- Experience with RF systems, S-Parameters, and related materials (desirable).
- Design for algorithm development and interpretation of third party contributions (desirable).
