New Patient Registration Specialist

All Star Labor and staffing is looking to fill a role that will take inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients who have received a referral from another provider and schedule new patient appointments. This position will be a Call Center Manager working Mon-Fri 8am-5pm $15.00an Hour.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Take inbound and make outbound calls to schedule new patient appointments.

Build charts for new patients with a high degree of attention to detail.

Assist with granting portal access to patients.

Communicate effectively with other departments as needed.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Work with referral team, providers, and nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent Patient Service skills and abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required.

Communicating by telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to speak clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

2-3 years relevant medical experience or equivalent preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.

Must have good interpersonal skills.

Must have strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Must be flexible and quick learner.

Experience working in a Windows based EMR/PM is preferred.

Excellent keyboarding and computer skills.
