The Highway 58 Herald, located in Oakridge, OR is a nonprofit news and information platform that serves the seven rural communities along the OR Hwy58 corridor. We are looking for a person experienced in outside advertising sales to develop a sustainable revenue stream consisting of sponsored content, advertisers, and donor commitments.
The successful candidate will work mostly autonomously, primarily in the Eugene/Springfield area and some east county. Travel allowance to be considered.
Candidates will have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Candidates will be self-staters capable of working unsupervised. Must be well spoken and energetic.
Neat in appearance and enthusiastic, but capable of working past rejections.
