Part-time Accounting Assistant A/R, A/P

Acoustic Sciences Corporation (ASC) is a small Eugene based local manufacturer of specialty acoustic products. We’ve been in business for 40 years. Our products are designed to enhance the overall playback quality into small, high-performance music environments. We sell mostly to Hi-Fi Audiophile Listeners and Music Recording Engineers, and ship our products to locations all around the globe.

Currently, we are seeking an in-office experienced Accounting Assistant to work part-time, 10-15 hours per week. Exact days and scheduled hours are still to-be-determined, and can be discussed during the interview process. Our normal business hours are Monday–Friday between 8:30am – 5:00pm. No weekend work is anticipated.

Responsibilities:

Post Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables

Generate Customer Invoices

Reconcile Financial Data

Create and maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets

Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards

Maintain company files and binders– both paper and electronic forms.

Perform other office tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

AR/AP knowledge & experience

Must have 1-2 years’ experience working in QuickBooks (Desktop), Excel & MS Office

Accuracy and attention to details are critical

Ability to prioritize and multitask

College or Two-year degree preferred

Past job stability and good references
