Job Title: Phlebotomist Job DescriptionAs a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, recording maintenance data, decontaminating equipment, and updating patient information. You will also be tasked with explaining the venipuncture and other specimen collection processes to patients in a clear and courteous manner. Other duties include matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, preparing specimens for transport, and answering telephone inquiries. You will be expected to attend annual department trainings to keep your skills and knowledge up-to-date.Hard Skills
