DescriptionPhlebotomist - Westside Float - Patient Service Center - Portland - 0.8 FTE, DaysFloats work at multiple Patient Service Center locations on the Westside of the Portland Metro area as assigned. Must be able to work 8 hour shifts, with variable start & end times based on assignment. Must be available 2 Saturdays each month. As a Providence caregiver, you’ll apply your specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection and make a difference every day through your extraordinary care.Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training Successful completion of a nationally accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant training program or

1 year phlebotomy related experience. Note: Industry related experience must be from an equivalent high volume, acute care laboratory performing high complexity testing, or

Successful completion of an internship in a Providence laboratory while actively enrolled in and progressing through a nationally accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant training program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Upon hire: Certification (PBT, etc.) from a government agency or nationally recognized organization (e.g. ASCP, NCA)
