Maintenance TechPaying $22 / HR - $28 / HRLocation - Portland, ORResponsibilities:

Prioritizes keeping production line running and promptly communicates to production supervisors.

Performs preventive maintenance, set-up and repair work on equipment associated with food processing and packaging.

Troubleshoots and repairs Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, Pumps, Gear boxes, Glycol System, Motors and Mechanical linkage.

Corrects any abnormalities found and reports potential downtime situations to the maintenance manager.

Maintains records and logs of work orders and work order request as needed.

Complies with all Departmental policies and procedures, and prepares any reports required for control, audit or reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

1-3 years maintenance experience preferred or applicable training.

Experience with food processing and packaging equipment.

Pneumatic and mechanical linkage repair experience.

Thorough knowledge of standard hand and power tools and equipment used in plant maintenance and repair activities.

Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Some fabrication skills including using drill press, mill and lathe machine.

Ability to prioritize workload for maximum plant efficiency and minimum downtime.

Good communication skills, organized, and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment.

Basic math associated with maintenance activities.

Environment/ Shift:

Day shift, Monday - Friday.

Food production and distribution.
