Project Architect Location: 100% RemotePlacement Type: 12 Month Contract to Hire Top Skills:

Degree in Architecture and minimum 8 years of experience working at an architecture firm in the US

Revit proficiency and ability to support a project from concept to completion (produce construction documents AND complete construction administration)

Retail project experience required (prototypical work is great)

Core + shell or ground up project experience required

Experience in retail, storefront systems, exterior details, tenant improvement and vendor coordinationDescription:Our client's firm is looking to bring on a Project Architect support their retail team. This PA will be working under the general supervision of a senior project manager, providing support in design development, construction documents, and construction administration. In order to be considered for the position candidates must:-Graduate of Architecture or design school-5+ years experience minimum in commercial interior architecture, retail-Experience focused in Core & Shell/Building envelope design -Highly skilled in Revit (must have used consistently in past year)Why This RoleOur client works closely with some of the world's most recognizable brands to design spaces that are relaxing, productive, and rejuvenating. They have studios in 24 cities across the US and work across three different vertical markets. The retail studio has decided to become fully remote, and is open to hiring candidates from all across the US with no expectation to ever return to office.Additional Skills & Qualifications:-Working knowledge of the range of design principles and aesthetics

Familiarity with space planning methodology

Familiarity with furnishings and finishes

Intermediate sketching and rendering skills

Intermediate interior architecture detailing skills

Working knowledge of CDs and procedures

Familiarity with building systems, codes and ADA requirements

Familiarity with requirements for the path of travel

Familiarity with contract administration

Commitment to support projects through peaks and valleys

Work EnvironmentFully remote work environment. Studios are open for those who prefer to work hybrid/in person.
