Description Robert Half is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to help a local non-profit organization with their annual conference in Portland, Oregon on a temporary basis. This position allows for up to three days per week to be worked from home, and you will be primarily tasked with supporting the events team with email inbox management, coordinating meetings, and providing top-notch customer service to individuals calling in with questions regarding the conference. To be successful in this role, an individual must have previous office support or administrative support experience, will be proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, and will be an individual that has a passion for helping others.Responsibilities

Helping out project teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

Acting as the main point of contact for the email inbox to answer questions or address concerns from conference attendees leading up to the conference

Answering phone calls from conference attendees to answer their questions or directing them to the correct department

Performing data entry in Excel and Cvent

Coordinating meetings and trainings

Performing clerical duties such as filing, fazing, photocopying, and more

Maintaining the conference registration in Cvent by inputting attendee information

Performing other administrative or clerical duties as requested

Requirements

2+ years of experience in an office support or administrative support position required

2+ years of customer service experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel

Scheduling or calendar management experience desired

Experience with handling a high volume of email and phone correspondence

Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Proficient with database and file management

Willingness and passion for helping others

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
