Regional Director of Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Springs Living seeks to drive strategic representation and decision-making to local leadership.  The Regional Director of Operations will oversee and collaborate with their region and other regional directors for overall success.  The Regional Director of Operations establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the region.  This role directs The Springs Living Northern Oregon operational activities and oversees policies, objectives, and initiatives for the region.This position will be a hybrid role working approximately three days per week at Oregon senior living communities and two days per week at our home office in McMinnville, Oregon.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops local and regional strategic business plans, monitoring and directing the implementationInfluences positive and supportive change at the city, county, state, and regional levelResponsible for acting as an effective connection between The Springs Living home office management company and the local, regional communityRelays quality assurance and brand standard policies/procedures needed by region from The Springs Living support teamRecruits and develops effective community executive director and other senior community leadersEvaluates current and proposed systems and procedures and determines and implements changes as necessary within the regionAccountable for the region’s compliance with all state requirements, including performance targetsImplements key performance indicator tracking to ensure that performance meets strategic goals and budget expectationsDevelops and completes monthly, quarterly and annual reports as specified by supervisorDevelops and oversees communications with relevant resident/family, employee’s vendors, regulators, governmental and other stakeholder advisory groupsAssists in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiativesManages the capital request and budgeting processes for the regionDevelops performance measures that support the company's strategic directionProvides strategic financial input and leadership around decisions that impact the organizationImplements operational best practices, driving TSL standardized processes, as well as regional efficienciesInteracts to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analysis, reports, and recommendationsLeads, coaches, develops, and manages staffPeriodically reviews key operating systems and reporting systems to ensure efficiency
