Retail Manager (NE Portland)

CCS has approximately 50 employees and is headquartered in Portland, OR.

The position is located at our flagship store that is part of our warehouse and office headquarters.

Summary:

The Retail Manager is the primary champion of delivering an outstanding local customer experience and bringing our culture to life in-store. You will run all aspects of the store, own the store P&L, and take a lead in building community. You will also work with the CCS marketing and operations teams to help generate online growth.

This is a terrific position to serve as a springboard for growth within CCS.

Responsibilities:

Run the retail floor; take great care of our customers; and supervise, motivate and train retail associates

Develop and monitor daily procedures

Monitor and stock inventory, merchandise the store, implement price changes, and oversee cycling counting

Analyze reports to identify new opportunities to improve results

Assemble skateboards (ideally but not required)

Ensure implementation of visual merchandising standards

Help conceive of and organize marketing events

Work with the operations and marketing teams as needed to support joint efforts

Requirements:

Extensive retail experience

Streetwear and/or skateboarding knowledge preferred

A love and enthusiasm for helping people

Demonstrated ability to set standards and constructively hold team members accountable

A lead-by-example, do whatever it takes management philosophy

Proactive and excited to learn new things

Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

$48k - $60k per year
