Seeking Legal Assistant / Paralegal – Appeals, Estate, Family Law

Seeking experienced legal assistant, paralegal, or independent legal contractor to assist with multiple active legal matters. Ideal for someone with strong research and drafting skills, and experience in civil litigation, probate, and federal appellate work.

This is a contract-based opportunity with immediate tasks and the potential for longer-term collaboration. Remote support is fine, but local to the Portland/Vancouver metro is preferred.

Looking for assistance with:

Legal research and writing

Court filings (state and federal)

Organizing case timelines, exhibits, and procedural steps

Drafting complaints, motions, and other pleadings

Civil tort preparation (IIED, defamation, fraud, malpractice)

Probate and estate-related filings

Federal appellate document support

This is a great opportunity for:

Pay is negotiable based on experience and capacity. Strong references or a portfolio of past work are a plus.
