Location: Brush Prairie, Washington

Position Type: Live-In / Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Live-In House Manager to support the daily operations of a private home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining an organized, well-run household, cooking meals, is comfortable with dogs, and values routine.

This role requires someone who is comfortable living in the home, managing responsibilities independently, and house/dog sitting while the owner is away.

Primary Responsibilities:

Household Management

Daily and weekly cleaning and general home upkeep

Light laundry

Grocery shopping and household supply management

Cooking and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Running errands (returns, pickups, appointments, etc.)

Pet Care

Taking dogs to veterinary, grooming, and other appointments

Daily care and oversight of dogs

House and dog sitting when the homeowner is out of town

Travel Support

Independently managing the home during owner travel

Maintaining cleanliness, security, and routines

Increased responsibility during travel periods

Minimum Commitment

Minimum commitment of 3 months required

Longer-term candidates preferred

Ideal Candidate

Organized, proactive, and trustworthy

Experience in household management, personal assistant work, or similar roles preferred

Comfortable with pets (2 small dogs, 1 cat)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred

Screening & Hiring Requirements

References required
