Culture

HDG team members enjoy a casual, social work environment. We don’t wear suits, we don’t clock in and out, and we don’t micromanage. We do work hard, have dogs in the office, and play on our shuffleboard table when time allows. Because our work is challenging, we enjoy that our environment is not. Work and fun remain connected here, and we set aside time for fun in addition to focusing on technical expertise and client needs. Our space is fun, too. HDG is located in a rejuvenated industrial building in the Central Eastside, right next to the railroad line where we can hear the familiar whistle and rumble of the trains working their way down the tracks every day.

Values

While we value hard work, a great product, and some fun, we also value the strong working relationships we have and enjoy the camaraderie that comes from these. As such, our values are centered around maintaining and building these relationships, both with current and new clients as well as with each other. Having shared values is important. Here are ours:

Maintain a strong work ethic

Be flexible and adaptable

Commit to doing the right thing
