- Defines automated test strategy including automation framework, tools, infrastructure, processes, methods, and techniques. Continually reviews and refines this strategy.
- Works closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, test reports, and automated scripts.
- Validates requirements and specifications are sufficiently unambiguous and clear for both QA acceptance as well as implementation purposes.
- Regular reporting on status and overall health of processes, projects, and infrastructure.
- Contributes to delivery of one or more simultaneous projects either as QA Lead or QA Engineer.
- Verifying Software behavior meets documented functional and non-functional requirements.
- Development of automated tests using the defined test framework.
- Proficiency testing, both manual and automated, as required by the project.
- Reporting, Verifying and Closing defect tracking issues.
- Running bug scrubs and other QA project meetings as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. Commensurate experience considered in lieu of degree.
- 3-7 years of commercial experience in Quality Assurance.
- Experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high paced exciting stimulating environment.
- Experience programming with C#, Java, or object-oriented Python.
