Title: Senior Software EngineerLocation: Hillsboro, OR (hybrid 40%)Duration: Full time/Direct HirePay Range: Between $120,000 to $180,000 per year - may vary based on experience Visa support available via visa transfer Our client, a leader in RF component design and test, has an immediate need for a highly motivated C Software Engineer to join their team in the development of high-end and mid-range Vector Network Analyzers. This is a small, cross-functional team in a great location that is very collaborative with close personal interactions. The selected individual will work with a highly qualified team of engineers, located both locally and abroad.Your Role Working with the team to build performant modern C applications for integration with the VNA firmware. Work within the entire application space, from low level firmware to GUI applications and business logic. Working closely with an inter-department team developing and consuming plugins for the newest product architecture. Shepherding code through a complete development process, including requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, and integrationYour Qualifications BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent educational certificate. 5 or more years of related work experience. Demonstrable understanding of and experience with object-oriented software design and architecture Coding experience in C (preferred) or similar OO language Enthusiasm to work on technically challenging projects and to quickly learn/grow in the process Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers and colleagues Occasional travel to European and U.S. locations.
