Shipping Specialist

Our Client is a locally owned and operated company, nationally known and respected as a leader in developing and producing affordable, easy-to-use data-acquisition products (probeware) for science classrooms and labs worldwide.

Summary

This person will pick and pull orders from a list and package them for shipment. In addition to pulling orders, you would be responsible for labeling the boxes, stacking boxes safely on the pallet, shrink-wrapping the pallet, and using the pallet jack to move the pallet to the dock for pickup.

Duties

Someone with material handling experience and FIFO (First in, first out) process experience is preferred.

Past experience working from an order or pick list is important

Able to stand on their feet all day in an active role

Strong attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly

Energetic

Good computer skills. Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Great attitude and good culture fit

Temporary Assignment: This job is temporary, but I can apply to be hired.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm

Pay: $18/hr
