We’re seeking a skilled equipment mechanic, for part-time, contract work or full-time, who knows their way around filling machines, mixers, pumps, conveyors, and automated production lines. If you're hands-on, proactive, and ready to keep our operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair filling machines, welding, and food-grade production equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging lines, and pumps
Quickly diagnose mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime
Assist with equipment changeovers, calibrations, and setups for different production runs
Work with operations and QA to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Maintain accurate service logs, PM schedules, and spare parts inventory
Help upgrade and install new machinery as production scales
What You Bring to the Table
3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in food, beverage, or nutraceutical manufacturing
Strong knowledge of filling lines, liquid/viscous product handling, and automated packaging systems
Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs
Experience with HACCP, GMP, FDA, or SQF compliance preferred
Comfortable with sanitary welding
