Small Engine Technician/Mechanic- Part Time

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of small engine mechanics

1+ years of experience working with small engine maintenance and repair

Strong mechanical capability and ability to troubleshoot engine issues

Excellent problem-solving skills

Previous customer service experience

Use of power tools and mechanical equipment

Responsibilities

Small Engine Mechanic at PowerEdge Motorsports diagnosing mechanical issues for repair and/or replacement needs.

Follow guidance from CFMoto with diagnosis and repairs

Performs routine service on equipment such as oil changes, front and back differentials

Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for purpose of providing information and taking appropriate action while complying with health and safety regulations

Order necessary equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items to complete the necessary installation/repair

Advises customers on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensures that equipment operates according to manufacturer’s specifications

Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations

Have basic knowledge of circuitry and wiring

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facility

Forklift experience and knowledge is preferred, but not required
