Title: Software Developer 3 - EDI HIPAA Gateway (100% remote work) Duration: Direct / Permanent w/great Benefits Location: 100% Remote Salary: 98K - 130K/yr. NOTE - Must reside and work from OR, WA, CA, TX, AK, MT, or NM ONLY Summary: - You will be a member of an Agile software development team in the Information Services (IS) Department on the EDI Claims Services team. - You will work on the next generation hybrid EDI processing and claims (834, 835) adjudication system leveraging Facets, Facets HIPAA Gateway, and AWS Cloud Services. - We are looking for individuals who relish technical challenges, building new processes, new APIs, and new hybrid systems to transform a business. Responsibilities: - You will be expected to work well within their agile team, foster collaboration, mentor teammates and other members of the IS Department, and provide opinion and expertise on technical issues all while embracing Agile Principles and Values. - You can perform a variety of technical administration, development, and support functions for Information Services. - Work with customers, vendors, consultants and other Information Services staff in performing your duties. - Working as an effective team member in an Agile Scrum or Kanban team. - Providing technical expertise and mentoring to your fellow Agile team members and members of other teams. - Gather and analyze complex business requirements. - Specify and implement technical plans for complex solutions. - Combine business and technical knowledge to gain agreement and implement solutions within cross-functional teams. - Verify correctness of software using manual and automated testing strategies. - Verify performance of software using load testing and other strategies. Required qualifications for this position include: - Associate Degree plus 6 years of demonstrated software development in an enterprise environment - Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of demonstrated software development in an enterprise environment - Master's degree plus 2 years of demonstrated software development in an enterprise environment - 8 years demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment. - 1 or more years in a Healthcare Insurance Environment Preferred qualifications: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, C#, Facets HIPAA Gateway, PowerShell, RESTful APIs, .Net Core, AWS Cloud Services, S3, Lambda Functions, RDMS/DynamoDB, Serverless Architectures, Node JS, Crystal Reports and SSRS.
