- Seasoned in technical product management with strong technical skills, product skills, and expertise with digital and technology transformation in an agile structure.
- Demonstrated experience in activities such as defining the vision for the technical product, creating multi year platform roadmap, managing and prioritizing the backlog, overseeing the stages of design and development, developing technical stories, liaising with the business, engineering and operations teams for providing best-in-class experience to Client’s customers.
- Derive key KPIs by working with business and engineering teams and create a reporting framework to monitor product adoption and ROI.
- Strong experience in microservices based architecture. Participate and drive the solution design, API and data contract reviews by collaborating with global application engineering teams, user experience engineering, principal engineers and solution architects.
- Apply best practices in product design and development to move based on market needs and pivot as necessary
- Can think through end to end product rollout strategy and execute smooth rollout to live production systems
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Expert in collaborating with cross functional team in managing product roadmap
- Manage escalations by providing options and influencing right decision for Client
- This role requires a candidate who is strong at building relationships across functions to align strategies and drive execution. This person will be a strategic problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities while driving a plan to execution
- Expert in communication by being clear and concise in providing data and facts to executive audience and influence right decisions
- Bring a sense of urgency and motivate the cross functional team to deliver quality product ontime.
- Create and drive technical strategy and technical roadmap for one or more platforms within Client’s Direct-To-Consumer business, through collaborating with business, product management, engineering and cross-functional teams
- Develop key KPIs and metrics for the technical platforms owned.
- Oversee execution of key initiatives through cross-functional collaboration
- Identify market needs and prioritize the initiatives working with cross functional teams
- Identify the right technology solutions and lead buy vs build decisions
- Own the technical product roadmap and deliver milestones by working closely with business, engineering and operations teams.
- Develop standards, processes to build and maintain a productive team
- Take ownership, roll up the sleeves and dive deep to bring clarity when needed
- Provide detailed technical specifications and well versed in explaining business and technical aspects.
- Have an eye to performance and scalability of the systems.
- Good team management skills and be accountable for work delivered as a team
- Applicant must have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. MBA or other management certifications preferred
- Experience in Agile and Scrum product development.
- Experience in eCommerce platforms. Cloud-based platform experience preferred.
- Ability to articulate high level and low-level system specifications.
- Expert in Software Application programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Product management including managing the backlogs to ensure product delivery.
- Performing technical architecture and solution design reviews.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross-functional partners to deliver key strategic initiatives.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented matrixed environment.
