Tasting Room Sales and Hospitality Associate

Edenvale Winery is a family-owned winery located southeast of Medford, between Ashland and Jacksonville Oregon. We produce a broad variety of single vineyard wines including tempranillo, syrah, chardonnay, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, as well as other small lot wines and blends.

We are currently looking for a talented and passionate Sales Associate that has previous wine sales experience, is customer-centered, and has exceptionally strong communication and sales skills. Looking for full or part-time candidate. Base salary $15.00/hour with additional compensation with commissions and tips. Earnings can be mid $25 to $35/hour based on your capabilities and customer service skills.

Job Description:

Works with customers on all customer service, sales and communication matters

Able to perform daily opening and closing procedures

Opening and presenting select wines for tasting

Serve as a concierge for customers

Operate cash registers / POS System and credit card terminals accurately and efficiently

Represent our brand professionally, graciously and passionately

Greet visitors and pour wines for tastings. Prepare food plates

Assist in maintenance of monthly and annual inventories of all wine and non-wine items

Monitor wine/non-wine inventories and general maintenance of premises

Assist with special events including specific wine club events

Assist with special assignments

Requirements:

Previous hospitality experience

Knowledge of wine and winemaking processes. Preference for certifications in wine.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use stairs and outdoor spaces

Professional appearance and demeanor

Organization, flexibility, and ability to follow instructions

Positive and outgoing attitude

Must be at least 25 years of age

Wine Certification

Food and wine pairing experience

Events/banquet or any hospitality background

Leadership and management skills preferred
