Veterinary Assistant

We are a single-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice dedicated to providing top-quality care to our patients, including dogs, cats, and some exotic pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, and pocket pets.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Veterinary assistant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn and grow in this field.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

A successful candidate will have the following experience and qualities:

Providing exceptional client service and communication

Being a team player with a positive attitude

Ability to problem-solve and think progressively

Safely and effectively restraining animals for examinations

Multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Lifting up to 50 pounds when needed

Handling medication and preparing vaccines

Obtaining medical history from clients and assisting with patient care
