The full Pay Range is $200,000-$350,000 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Additional details regarding BECU Benefits can be found here .IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:The Vice President, People Team Strategic Support leads a group of strategic support resources to solve problems related to strategic priorities and deliverables in the employee experience. This function will encompass people strategy implementation across all aspects, including how the people division gets work done. The People Analytics function, part of this new team, will be critical to this work and the company going forward. Reporting to the EVP, Chief People Officer, this position will apply a big-picture focus on solutions, across the company and the division, tying actions and decisions back to current and future business needs and strategy.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Strategic Planning and Governance: Develop and implement planning, governance, and processes to cultivate prioritization and implementation within the People organization, including sequencing work and roadmaps for priorities.Cross-Functional Execution: Facilitate the implementation of cross-functional strategic roadmaps for a portfolio of key initiatives and projects across the People organization, seamlessly integrating efforts and aligning stakeholders.Strategic Vision and Direction: Partner and provide strategic vision and direction for company-wide talent and employee experience initiatives.Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and internal consulting for cross-functional credit union and/or division development initiatives, offering imaginative solutions and best practices.Shape Business Rhythms: Establish a rhythm of the business calendar to drive consistency on execution and experience along with metrics associated with employee life cycle and reporting on a regular basis to prioritize work and demonstrate effective programs.Alignment and Integration: Facilitate ongoing stakeholder meetings to ensure the integration and alignment of business growth initiatives/opportunities, performance trends, best practices, and other issues affecting the business, promoting a cohesive and informed approach.Listening strategy: Work with people analytics to determine comprehensive approach to our listening strategy. Partner across the division to ensure our listening informs our people practices and employee experience.Continuous Improvement : Establish and implement continuous-improvement mindset, capabilities, and actions for the people organization.Financial Management: Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of business plans and budgets for the People organization. Regularly review People organization costs and cost structures for People services and products so that the financial implications of People projects and activities are communicated to the proper people and business executives. Partner with Finance on company workforce planning and budget process, developing prioritization mechanisms and maintaining controls to ensure visibility and tracking for planned adds, unplanned adds, and replacements within People organization.Communication and Engagement: Oversee People communications to ensure alignment with company communications, supporting critical People organization projects and initiatives, and oversee People feedback and surveys to cultivate actionable insights. Oversee People feedback and surveys and ensure objective evaluation and reposting of the data insights in an actionable manner.Talent Development: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training within the department to develop and encourage employee performance, contributing to the growth and results of the BECU team.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or related experience.

Minimum 10 years of people leader experience in fast-paced, highly collaborative work environments.

Minimum 10 years of experience developing and/or facilitating the development of business plans and operational execution.

This job is remote or hybrid but requires you to reside in one of the following states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina.

Ability to travel up to 10%.

Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish targets, goals, and projects.

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced degree

Financial industry experience

Excellent knowledge and demonstrated ability in organizational change management, process improvement, and program management.

Experience in guiding cross-functional program management and project lifecycles.

High degree of skill in critical thinking and the ability to apply this skill in the identification, analysis, and conceptualization of problems.

Experience guiding diverse cross-functional teams, showcasing effective leadership and negotiation skills.

Current knowledge of developments in new market trends and innovations in employee engagement.

Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgement in problem solving.

Excellent planning skills in both tactical and strategic planning. Effective leadership and negotiation skills.
