WANTED: Starting Handyman/Handywoman (Bend)

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $27/hr and up DOE + performance bonuses + phone reimbursement

Experience Level: Mid-level

We're looking for someone who is reliable, great at problem solving and a personable handyman/handywoman. So social like a trader joes employee but you can fix most anything. You would be part of a team with good clients and a diverse workload. The ideal candidate will have some experience in general home repairs, maintenance, and construction work but most importantly looking for someone who has a knack for learning skills on the fly and pulling off decent results in unique situations as every home is different. Being a curious person with a sense of humor goes a long way with customers. The work pace is varied as well. Flexible with days off and vacations. A typical day would involve getting things together you need for the day, verifying housecall pro app for job specifics, arriving on site and completing the work in a professional manner and taking pictures/notes along the way. Clean and tidy as you go.

What You’ll Do

Perform general home repairs and maintenance (carpentry, painting, drywall, etc.)

Install fixtures, hardware, and appliances

Handle light plumbing and electrical work

Work in crawlspaces, attics, and other tight spots as needed

Communicate professionally with clients and teammates

Use Housecall Pro to track and complete jobs

We’re Looking For

Some experience in handyman, construction, or maintenance work

Knowledge of tools, repair methods, and materials

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders

Clean, professional, and friendly

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Good communication and time management skills

Nice to have strength in fences, drywall, or carpentry

Your own basic tools (we supply job-specific gear)

Certifications or trade training (not required)
