Warehouse Assistant & Forklift Operator - Moving and Storage

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant & Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have two years' experience in household goods moving and storage, and safe forklift operation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to maintain regular and predictable attendance and must be able to work at our Tualatin branch warehouse.

Duties

Operate forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.

Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials.

Check in shipments and note exceptions.

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs to the warehouse supervisor.

Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a household goods warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of industry processes.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week, day shift

Pay: $20.00 and up, depending on experience and qualifications
