Wildland Firefighter Training (PAID) - Bend

A great (paid) opportunity to get certified as an entry-level wildland firefighter (Fire Fighter Type 2). All required classes to become a wildland firefighter will be provided by the Forest Service. You must be at least 18 years of age by 8/1/25 to participate. The training is from June 16th - 20th from 8:30 to 4:30 (40 total paid hours). Training is to be held in Bend, Oregon. This is NOT a firefighting job, it is only the training to become certified to fight fire. If you are interested in getting a job as a wildland firefighter after the training, we will connect you with local organizations that are hiring for this summer.
